"Back to the Future Part II" is a 1989 American science fiction adventure film directed by Robert Zemeckis and written by Bob Gale. The movie is the second installment in the "Back to the Future" trilogy, starring Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly, a high school student who travels back in time to the year 1955 in a DeLorean car invented by his eccentric scientist friend, Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd).
