The story revolves around Janaki (Alia Bhatt), a determined and ambitious young woman from a middle-class family in Mumbai. She dreams of becoming a successful event planner and starts her own business, Swan Events. Meanwhile, she meets and falls for Raja (Ranveer Singh), a charming and carefree young man who works at a music shop in the same building. Raja is a talented tabla player and shares a passion for music with Janaki.
