The movie is a sequel to the 2007 film "Billa," which was also starring Vijay. The story follows Billa, a Tamil Nadu-based don who wants to expand his business to Malaysia. However, his plans are threatened by a Singapore-based don, Chinna (played by Ashutosh Rana).
