The Kamasutra, one of the most famous Indian texts on human sexuality, written by Vatsyayana in the 2nd century CE, describes same-sex relationships and provides guidance on how to engage in them. Additionally, Indian mythology and literature, such as the Mahabharata and the Ramayana, contain references to same-sex relationships and non-binary individuals.
