In a not-too-distant future, Earth is on the brink of collapse. Climate change and pollution have rendered the planet uninhabitable, and humanity is on the verge of extinction. In a last-ditch effort to ensure the survival of humanity, a team of astronauts, led by Cooper (Matthew McConaughey), a former NASA pilot, embarks on an interstellar journey through a newly discovered wormhole in search of a new habitable planet.
