Years later, pixhawk_248 became a legend stitched into the firmware histories of bespoke fleets. Some nodes forked it, tightening its rules, removing the detour behavior for applications that demanded absolute predictability. Others extended it, adding sensors and subtle heuristics to make the “preference for discovery” more discriminating.
