The story takes place in 2017, four years after the events of "Resident Evil 6". The film follows Chris Redfield (voiced by Josh Keaton), a BSAA (Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance) agent, as he teams up with Leon S. Kennedy (voiced by Matthew Mercer), a government agent, and Jill Valentine (voiced by Sarah Lafleur), a BSAA agent, to take down a bioterrorism threat in Italy.
