Chitra (Vijay) is a honest and dedicated police officer who fights against corruption and injustice. He becomes a thorn in the side of the corrupt politician, Muthusamy (played by Prakash Raj), who tries to get him killed. Chitra survives the attempt on his life and sets out to clear his name and bring Muthusamy to justice.
